經過三天馬不停蹄的奔波，雙腿早已痠的不像話，走路都覺得”鐵腿”(請用台語發音)，所以一覺睡到9點，再去趕早餐的最後期限。早餐非常豐盛，各式麵包、飲料、水果、優格、培根、蛋、火腿、蛋糕...等等讓我們可以好好補充這三天沒吃到的食物以及流失的體力。早餐後搭飯店提供的小巴士到機場，乾嘛?打電話給樓友，說明我們無法準時回去倫敦，與他們共度除夕夜的計畫也取消了。剩下的錢打回台灣向家人報平安，講沒幾分鐘就沒錢了，吃錢吃的眞兇! 接著回去小憩一下，15點前起床準備去吃午餐。飯店的waiter很可愛，英文不太會就跑回去請教同事再跟我們解釋menu，還跟我們道歉他的英文不好，也不會說日文。喔! 又被當日本人了。你們可以看到我們點的starter是salad with meat，秋萍的main course是chicken，我的則是tuna，dessert同樣都是pudding。吃完之後就到處蹓躂，上上健身房，接著再度回房休息，直到六點，就被”踢”出飯店到機場啦!
苦等到21:00，搶了第一個位置check in，而且還是一個帥哥地勤人員，心情還算愉悅。進到候機室後，發現他們的免稅商場還頗大的，隨意逛了逛，就去登機門等待登機。盯著螢幕，一股不祥的熟悉感又來了! DELAY! 一再的delay，到最後是00:55 起飛，飛到倫敦是當地2:00am。前一班的coach 是12:05am，下一班是3:20am. 只好又待在Luton機場等一個小時，撘上車時，外頭正下著雪，唉! 晚餐沒吃再加上下雪，真是飢寒交迫! 回到宿舍已是4:30am，恰巧碰到樓友剛從Party回來，唉! 天壤之別! 我們的除夕夜就在兩地機場中度過，總共費時11小時在外，應該沒有人比我們更慘了吧!即使如此，我們還是愛死了巴塞隆納，非常適合自助旅行，天氣好，東西便宜，建築有特色，交通便利加上貼心、舒適又隨處可及的座椅，最重要的是：男人高又帥! 各位姊姊妹妹，大舉進攻巴塞隆納吧!(美女也很多啦! 男性同胞也可以去啦!)

After three-day non-stop travelling, our legs hurt so much. Therefore, we went to bed without dinner and then got up at 9:00 to have breakfast. The breakfast is really good, including all kinds of bread, juice, milk, fruit, yogurts, bacon, eggs, cakes…etc. We ate as much as we could because we didn’t have much food for these three days. After breakfast, we took the shuttle to the airport. What for? I tried to make a phone call to my flatmates and told them we could not go back to London on time and neither spent the Chinese New Year’s Eve together. I bought a phone card, which cost Euro 6 and made two phone calls: UK and Taiwan. It‘s really expensive to call back to Taiwan! After that, we went to the hotel to take a nap until 15:00 to have late lunch. The waiter in the restaurant was really polite. His English is not good and they don’t have English menu so that he went back to consult his colleague and then tried his best to explain the menu. He also apologized for his poor English to us and that his cannot speak Japanese. Oh, we were mistaken for Japanese again! Look at the photos to have a look what we ordered. We ordered the same starter, salad with meat. The main course for Gloria was chicken, and for me was tuna.
We ordered the same dessert, pudding. Look delicious? Yes! Yummy, yummy!
We were very full so we for a walk. We even went to the gym…to take photos. Ha! We went back to our room to take a rest and then were “kicked” out of the hotel at 18:00. We waited until 21:00 and then got the first place to check in. We were in good moods at that time because the clerk is a good-looking guy and we thought everything would be ok. There were lots of tax free shops in this airport so that we could kill time there and then we went to the gate 4C to wait for getting on board. Staring at the screen, a familiar, unlucky feeling came to our minds. DELAY! The flight delayed again and again. At last, the flight took off at 00:55 and then arrived in London at 2:00 local time. The last coach was 12:05 and the latest coach was 3:20. We had no choice but wait in the airport for one more hour. It was snowing outside and we hadn’t have dinner yet. We were both cold and hungry. When we went back to our students’ hall, it was 4:30 and I met my flatmates at the same time. They just came back from the parties! We spent our Chinese New Year’s Eve in the both airports! We don’t thin no one would have such an experience like us. Even though, we love Barcelona! It’s really a very good place for backpackers. The weather is good, the cost price is not so expensive, the buildings are so unique, the transportation is convenient and comfortable benches are everywhere. Most important of all, there are “tons” of good-looking guys! Ladies, let’s head for Barcelona! (Well, you guys can go there as well, there are also lots of beauties there. )
