先附上行程表(英文版),給大家"聞香"一下

但是2/7之後的行程是Shannon自己的行程, 他要繼續留在紐西蘭北島自己多玩幾天,哼!

NEW ZEALAND

1/19-LAX 11:35pm Air Tahiti (Travel Time 16hr)

1/21-Arrive Auckland 12:50pm, Stay Ibis Hotel-shuttle or walk to hotel

1/22-Depart Auckland to Christchurch (9:10am-10:30am), shuttle to car rental, Christchurch-CBD buildings, Botanical Gardens and Canterbury museum, Avon River, Victoria Square, Banks Peninsula drive and explore, stay in Christchurch. Godley Head ocean vista walk by Lyttleton.1 hour drive from town. Go to suburb of Sumner, take evans pass rd. to left on Summit rd to godley head carpark.

1/23-Drive to Lake Takapo (137miles, 2.5hr), Hike Mount St. John 3.6km and 1000ft (SE section of lake), relax swim in lake, stone church, stargazing, stay at Lake Takapo

1/24-Drive to Mount Cook Village, Visitor Center, Hooker Valley Hike 3hr(start at white horse hill camping area), Stay in Twizel

1/25-Clay Cliffs of Omarama (10km west of town) drive through 2 gates, pay $5 in lock box. turn off is 5km north of town.

Lake Benmore hike(3.6km) . Hike if good sunny day.Once you reach Otematata, you’ll see a brown sign for the Benmore Dam. Turn left onto the road that goes to the Benmore Dam.Drive past the Power Station and until the road starts climbing and reaches a junction. When you reach the junction the road bends to the right, which will take you onto the road that goes over the top of the Benmore Dam. Instead, turn onto the road that goes to the left. This will take you to a large parking lot above the Benmore Dam. You’ll see gates and a DOC sign for the Benmore Peninsula Track on your left.   OR JUST STOP AND VIEW THE DAM.

Drive to Dunedin (3hours, 220km)Moeraki Boulders Scenic Reserve-possible dolphins by beach-take binoculars Otago Peninsula-Dunedin-railway station, "The Octagon" buildings downtown",p.259-260 in DK, (1.5hr)Larnach Castle 9am-5pm,$28, drive on highcliff rd.(great views) to castle, (2 hrs min)                                                                Try to view penguins before sunset. Stay in Dunedin

1/26-Tour of the Catlins. Drive to Te Anau . (245km dunedin-invercargill) 2 more hours to Te Anau. Nugget Point. Jack's Blowhole. Cathedral Caves.Porpoise Bay. Purakaunui Falls. McLean Falls. Stay in Te Anau.

1/27-Drive to Milford Sound.(2.5-3hr 1way) Leave early. Stop at sights on way back. Mirror lakes-20 minute walk. Chasm walk 15min. Stay in Te Anau.

1/28-Drive to Wanaka (227km) 3 hrs. walk downtown queenstown and "queenstown gardens park by lake. Arrowhead "goldtown"-tourist trap? ) Rob Roy Valley hike 2-3 hours .     The Matukituki Valley is an hour’s drive west from Wanaka.The track starts at a swing bridge, 15 minutes from the Raspberry Flat car-park.

1/29-Drive to Greymouth (458km,5.5hrs. Also view some areas in Mt. Aspiring Nat'l Park in DK p.272-waterfall, small walk. Fox Glacier walk and view- 1 hr.    2.6km Drive south for two kilometres from Fox Glacier Weheka township, and turn left immediately before the Fox River bridge

1/30-Drive to Pohara 4.5hr, 346km, Pancake Rocks in Punakaiki 15 minutes loop,     Relax on Kaiteriteri Beach at Abel Tasman. Stay Abel Tasman

1/31-2/1-1. Hike from Northern Abel Tasman along coast and swim. Explore up north from Pohara. Hike Wanui falls.Stay Abel Tasman

2/2-Drive to Nelson(90 minutes). Possibly kayak along coast. Nelson has lots of galleries. Free house(church of beers in nelson)

2/3-Drive to Kaikoura. Pelorus Bridge Scenic Reserve, Queen Charlotte Drive DKp.201,Wairau Vineyards -largest wine area in NZ.,

2/4-Drive to Christchurch, Hammer Springs $20, walk around Kaikoura,Waipara Vineyards p.232DK

2/5-Fly Christ to AKL,Mt. Eden Viewpoint p.78LP, One Tree Hill p.64LP,Walking Tour on p.66 Lonely Planet ,Ferry to Devonport $11round trip(by Pier 2)-walk up mt.victoria(ferry to victoria st to kerr st.) or down beaches in Devonport-victorian houses, Sky Tower at dusk $25,                 Stay Auckland

2/6-Drive to Whangarei, Abbey Caves/Glowworms,Mt Manaia hike,whangarei falls, kaurki trees walk, whangarei head walk,Stay Whangarei

2/7-, Villa Maria Estate(10-6pm) by airport for wine tasting, One tree hill and cornwall park-AKL, Wallace Arts Center, Auckland Botanical Gardens,  Dinner before flight. Micky fly out Auckland 845, Stay Hamilton? or Raglan?

2/8 New Plymouth,  Egmont Nat'l Park-Mt Taranaki,   Stay Whanganui?

2/9  Tongario Nat'l Park -Hike Mt. Ruapehu/Crater Lake 5-7hours, Start at Whakapapa ski area at top of bruce rd. waterfall express chairlift  OR Tongario Crossing Emerald Lakes , start at Mangatepopo rd at end 

2/10  Taupo

2/11 Roturua and Coromandel?

2/12 Stay Thames in Coromandel,  Coromandel-Pinnacles Hut HIke-Kauaeranga valley east of thames, 4-5 hours,    Cathedral Cove walk at end of Grange Rd in Hahei, Tokatea lookout 30min, from end of Kennedy Bay Rd; Butterfly Garden, 34km north of Thames 9:30-4pm;

2/13 Drive to AKL Leave 350pm
